1953 MGTD MKII, 14,225 Miles from new.
Reported to be a two owner car. Our matching number 1953 MG TD was owned by the second owner since 1971. The second owner and his wife enjoyed the car on many long trips with the local MG club. The car is incredible. No rust, No wood rot, No door sags.
The exterior bodywork and paint are glass smooth. The color combination shows off the classic lines of this car. Wire wheels with center knock off nuts complete the British Car Experience.
The car starts and runs well with no known issues. Oil pressure is correct cold and hot. The car runs at the correct temperature, The clutch grabs nicely with no slipping. The non synchro 4 speed transmission shifts well, The rear differential is quiet. Brakes operate as they should. All lights and gauges operate properly.
These cars are simple to operate and maintain. The MGTD will perform on todays modern roads and reward its owner with trouble free motoring.
The brightwork is very presentable and shines like new. Some items have been chromed.
